For today I am posting for Make My Monday challenge blog..
Black and White with a hint another colour.
Here is how I interpreted the challenge:
Just a hint of another color. |
Stamped the sentiment then added the die cut for a bit of pop. |
This summer my daughter took a camp that taught the day in the life a Victorian woman. One interesting fact that will interest all of us card makers out there is the 'calling card' was the precursor to the greeting card.
In that time there was the social language of flowers. Each flower that was given was meant as a sign of how the other was feeling. So after doing a bit of research I found out the pink rose was the Victorian symbol for perfect happiness. Isn't that what we all inspire to become 'perfectly happy'. I say bring the language back and load me up with pink roses!!
Victorian Flower Language: Pink Rose- Perfect Happiness |
I hope this inspires you to link up to our challenge this week! I also want to thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you have great day and if you want to leave a comment please do so. Or if ANY of my information is incorrect please feel free to let me have it!! Take care all and see you soon!
