Paper Flowers

 Hello All,

Today I will be playing along with As You See It and AAA Card Challenges. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

These beautiful flowers come from a new paper pack.
It pained me to cut it up but I knew it was for the greater good.. 😏

Figuring out where to cut this paper took the most time. The entire paper is so pretty but without thinking about it I cut right in because I knew time was of the essence.

Sentiment cut from simple black cardstock.

Challenges Entered:

AAA Cards Challenge: #261: Anything CAS goes (Spring Colors)
As You See It: Challenge #319: Spring Flowers- Speed Challenge
From Start to Finish- 12min.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. I hope you all have a fantastic day and lots of good crafting vibes headed your way.

Handbasket?

 Hello All,

For today I will be playing along with As You See It Challenge. I have been wanting to use this stamp FOREVER, and now is my chance. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

As stated below this card took ten minutes and forty-six seconds to create! My craft-table is ALWAYS messy with remnants of past projects scattered around. So, I grabbed a piece of metallic bronze cardstock, then my basket embossing folder and ran it through. I quickly took a gold metallic ink pad and grazed over the highpoint of the embossing.

The banners are extras of what I had laying around my craft area. I have been doing a lot of fall cards so coordinating the colors was a cinch. Trimmed some down and taped them on the basket weave base. Taping versus gluing took a less time. Stamped the sentiment die cut to show stitching. Framed the sentiment with black scrap cardstock.
DONE!

I love this stamp's sentiment. It has always made me giggle and hope it does the same for you.

Challenges Entered:
As You See It Challenge: #259- Speed Humour
Time: 10min.46sec.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. Lots of good crafting vibes are headed your way. I hope you all have a fantastic day and stay crafty my friends.

Color of Blooms

Hello All,

For today I will be playing along with As You See It Challenge and Just Us Girls. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

To me, Hyacinth is the essence of Spring. They are so beautiful and come in all the colors of the rainbow. This is a layering stamp set from Altenew I got quite a while ago. I am so glad I have the opportunity to use it for these challenges.

After the layered stamping, I die-cut the hyacinth and arranged
them to create a flowery happy scene.

The sentiment is what wraps this entire card together. My daughter thought it needed a punch against all the pastel colors. So I decided on die-cut letters and a 'sweet' sentiment would be just the thing it needed.

Challenges Entered:
I love most all flowers, but I must say Hyacinth is one of my favs.

Pearl Flower 2

 Hello All,

Today I will be playing along with The Color Throwdown, The Flower Challenge, As You See It, and Color Hues. Here is my card for today, enjoy!!!

These colors remind me of Spring.
This palette of colors and shiny textures is so refreshing, crisp, and so pretty.

Above: The flowers were colored using a layered stamp set by Altenew. Left/Below: This glowing effect was down using Perfect Pearls and an Altenew layered flower set. I stamped the solid image of the flower stamp set and added Perfect Pearls. I then took the next stamp in the set and added VersaMark ink which lifts the Perfect Peals off the first layer. A darker blush tone was stamped for the next layer. Right/Bottom: I dry embossed and added gold ink to the folder that transferred to the paper

Challenges Entered:

The Flower Challenge: #53- Use Your Latest Stamps or Dies
As You See It Challenge: #244- Getting Cozy
The Color Throwdown: ctd630
Color Hues: Challenge #12- Peach & Green

The colour that makes me feel the coziest is soft peach.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. Lots of good crafting vibes headed your way. I hope you all have a fantastic day and please stay safe and healthy.

Poppy Slimline

 Hello All,

Today I will be playing along with Just Us Girls, The Flower Challenge, and As You See It Challenges. This my new set from Altenew called Wallpaper Art; it has become a favorite. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

I rarely use the same stamp set for an entire card but with the exception of the sentiment, this card is from my latest and greatest stamp set, Wallpaper Art from Altenew.

The bold flowers are what attracted me to the set. These were colored using alcohol markers in reds, browns, and yellows. The leaves were stamped in gray and colored in green. I layered that with embossed white and stamped gray leaves.

These blooms are large! They seem to be the perfect fit for a slimline card. The color scheme is beautiful and elegant.

Quick Card

Hello All,

Today I will be playing along with As You See it Challenge and the Rainbow Card Challenge. Their challenge was to create a card in ten minutes or less. Well, challenge accepted! Here is my card for today, enjoy!

Another part of their challenge is to use scraps. No problem! All I had to do was just look at the piles on my craft table of projects that either failed or items kept for a future card. These are my scraps from my craft table turned into a card.

The stenciled dots background is a scrap from a failed project. I went to recycle it but then.... Why? All I did with the scrap was cut a strip off the bottom and placed the paper at an angle and added the strip to the card. It took a second to do but I think it has a fantastic impact.

So it just sat on my table. I also rounded up a scrap of wood patterned paper and the diecut sentiment. Cut the shadow from the wood scrap and placed the sentiment on top. The sequins are the only thing I had to 'get' and probably took the longest to place- 4 minutes to be exact.

Challenges Entered:
As You See It Challenge: Challenge #241 - Speedy Scraps
Total time: 10 minutes

Celebrate! It's your day.

 Hello Everyone,

Today I am going to share a card using the challenge from As You See It. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

The wreath is traditionally for Christmas or Winter cards but in this case, I made it more of an occasion card. This wreath uses all sorts of different green pattern papers. The wreath itself is built up to three layers and the banner is also three layers.

The inlay technique is really is effective with the layered wreath.
It really shows the dimension very well.

The sentiment is made up of two stamp sets in two different shades of green.

Namaste...

Hello Everyone,

For today I will be playing along with As You See It Challenge. The power of three, as we all know, is the cornerstone to design. I don't know the science behind it but it seems to be more visually appealing than even number clusters. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

The power of three on a CAS card. The jet black hair is mimicked on the border for grounding these three little ladies in the design.
This card was created in a flash! I don't think I have ever done a card in less than ten minutes! Until now! This card took nine minutes!!! Nine minutes and that includes coloring! Whaaaaa?

These little ladies were colored using Copic markers.

Hooray a Rainbow

Hello All,

For today I will be playing along with Tuesday Morning Sketches and As You See It challenges. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

The very festive card is meant for my aunt. Her birthday is well.... today.
I guess you could say better later than never, I guess.
I really enjoy all the rainbow elements on this card. I love the banner the rainbow bits and balloons with confetti. The all-white background seems to accentuate the color. The silver background for the shaker is a nice subtle luster.
Rainbow banner works well with the sentiment
white embossed on the shaker window.
The shaker window is filled with confetti bits by Hero Arts.
Challenges Entered:
Tuesday Morning Sketches: Sketch 550
As You See it Challenge: Challenge #223 - Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Thank you so much for stopping by and I do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. I hope you all have a fantastic day and lots of good crafting vibes headed your way.
