Tangled Hearts

Hello All, 

For today I will be playing along with Pattie's Creations, Cards in Envy and Creative with Stamps. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

The dangling hearts is a digital stamp from Pattie's Creations.
I enlarged the dangles to cut off the page. I think it gives it a new and different look to this popular stamp.

The bokah backdrop and color choice were done digitally using Adobe's brushes and gradient effects. The hearts were colored manually using Copic markers.

The sentiment comes from a free digi I snagged online. Again by enlarging it and cutting off the edge it gives the banner an artistic quality.

Pumpkin Patch

Hello All,

Some of you may have seen my previous post that I am guest designing for Creative with Stamps. They are starting the month of November with the theme 'Thankful'. Here in the U.S., November is the month for gratitude and thanks. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

For this design I used two pumpkin sponsor images. You can alter the same image to look like another. In this case, the yellow and orange pumpkin is the same digi. By rotating and resizing it looks like a completely different image.

Think about your printing medium. You don't always have to print on white paper. I decided to print on kraft paper then add color using Prismacolor Pencils. You can also print on vellum, colored paper, watercolor paper, etc.

The sentiment is a die-cut from PTI. I used the same dark brown paper as the matting layer. The die cut leaves were done by inking white CS with Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint, and Carved Pumpkin Distress Inks. Misted it with water which blends all the colors together. Die cut the leaves and sponged the edges with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.

These little bees look so happy that they found their friend.
The bees were so easy to work with and had a fantastic resolution.
