Hello Everyone,
I hope this post finds everyone healthy and safe. Today I would like to play along with a few challenges- Addicted to CAS, Double D, Inspired By... and Stamping Sensations. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

| One thing owls are very good at is staring and seems pretty spooky at times. |

| The card started off the same color that's surrounding the owl, a dark gray. I stamped the owl and masked him off and started sponging black all around the mask. Finally, I added some white ink around the masking to provide an aura around the owl. |

| The eyes is what captivated me the moment I purchased the stamp. I simply added some white Prisma color pencil to its eyes for a glowing effect. |
For today I will be playing along with Simon Says Stamp, Inspired By..., Just Add Ink, and Freshly Made Sketches. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

| At first, I used ink to cover the white panel and it just wasn't working for me. So I put down a bit of white acrylic paint and added green reinker. I gradually added more green as I went down the panel trying to blend all together. In the end, I created an ombre backdrop of rainbow greens. |

| The three strips come from a card that was done awhile back. It was created using the Concord and 9th- Marbled Turnabout in all metallics. The cutout of the 'U' is from pearlescent green paper. Lots of shine and shimmer. |
My grandmother on my mother's side was from Ireland. Lucky for my sister she lived in Ireland for a time. So these cards do tend to be sent out to my family. Who knows we might venture that way someday and visit my roots.

For today I am playing along with Inspired By... challenge. I thought the graphic nature of the challenge photo was so inspiring that I thought I would join in the fun. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

| The trees are brushed using DI- Antique Linen and white pigment ink on colored cardstock. |

| I extended the sentiment strip to include some white space. I thought it added a modern touch to the design. The wood delivers a traditional feel. In contrast, the trees deliver a contemporary feel. |

| I added some dry embossing to the trees for a bit of subtle dimension. |

| I saw this color palette and immediately thought of Art Deco. The geometric design, use of nature, and later, bright vibrant color, is what inspired me to create this card. The gold and aqua colors are what really got me thinking along this line. I think I managed to stay true to the Art Deco style. |

| Above: The moth was heat embossed using Princess Gold powder by Ranger. I colored the moth using a mixture of Mexpy and Copic alcohol markers. I added a bit of dimension by fussy cutting the moth and adding foam tape for lift. I really like the way the shadows land on the white CS. Left/Below: The panel behind the moth shows the sentiment and banner. The banner was colored in the same colors as the moth and the sentiment was stamped in dark brown. Right/Bottom: Now this is where it gets interesting. The aqua CS was done by dry debossing the pattern in the cardstock. I then evenly added Versamark to the raised part of the embossing plate pattern, trying to make sure to get ink only on the raised pattern. I then used the same technique as before and ran it through again. I added the Princess Gold powder and heat set. I really enjoy how it turned out. |

| Distressing the edges and around the cacti seemed appropriate for the design. The background paper is slightly distressed and it only seemed fitting the edges should be the same. The cacti were stamped and white embossed directly on the background. I then used Prismacolor pencil to lightly color in some base white color. Lastly, I went in with color. The white base helped make the colors stand out. |

| The strips of paper were positioned per the sketch. I wanted to keep a southwest feel by using natural colors and geometric patterns that are often found in that area of the U.S.A. Sorry, no hives here. |

| A detail shot of the cacti showing the Prismacolor pencil color that was applied. I depict a bit of cartoonist shadow for my playful images. The glow around the cacti was treated the same as the border of the card. Light and medium gray tones show off the colors on the cacti. |

| Lots and lots of visual texture. Examples of texture are the lace stamp embossed in white and sponged using Vintage Photo Distress Ink, the plaid background tag, and the wood foreground tag. |

| I was challenged how to create an embellishment in accordance with Sketch Saturday. A simple wooden oval embellishment seemed to be the perfect touch for solving the challenge. |

| The wooden texture tag is just delightful. I stamped the acorn image, inspired by well...... Inspired By... and colored using Prismacolor colored pencils. Adding the acorn stamp creates more texture without the bulk. |
