For tonight I am playing along with City Crafter Challenge Blog. Their theme for this week are 'You are my SUPERHERO!' Here is my card for tonight, enjoy!
I used a basic color scheme for my 'strips'. |
Cutting the squares into rectangles was done to create a look of a comic book. |
My son is truly my hero! Why? The entire family (exp. my husband) were sick this past week. My son got it the worst with fevers reaching as high as 103.4 degrees Fahrenheit (39.6 degrees Celsius)! A couple of hospital visits, doctor visits, and some x-rays; he wasn't getting better and was starting to worry. Finally, we found out he had phenomena in his left lung which wasn't on the first x-ray. What makes him my hero is that he didn't complain a bit!! He took everything in stride and was okay with all the poking and prodding. I told him I was proud of him!! I made this card for him, for my hero!!
Okay I am going to stop bothering you and go to bed. I hope everyone has a great night and thank you for stopping by.. We will see you again at TheGrandStampede.
All the best,
Shawna

Oh Wow! This is fabulous!! Thanks so much for sharing your talent here at CCCB!! Hope your son is feeling better too!
Sorry to hear that your son especially has been so poorly this past week, very worrying time. Wow the most fantastic card, fabulous take on the inspiration. I was stuck on this one. You've captured the true essence with the colours and the layout, Great job! Thank you for the inspiration x
Thank you very much for stopping by my blog and leaving such kind comments. About the micro beads.... Yes once the embossing paste is dry I am quite fierce and rub over them to get any loose beads away. After that it is rock solid. Those micro beads are not going anywhere. Thanks again, always love to hear from you x
SUPER job, Shawna! I love it!
