For today I will be playing with The Color Throwdown. I got some new toys from Stamplorations today and this challenge gave me a perfect opportunity to play... So here is my card for today, enjoy!
Nothing like new tools to 'inspire' a card design. Black cardstock was the base for this card. I then used acrylic paints for the color using the 'inspire' as a mask and color divider. |
The metallic green sheen on this card is so pretty in person. Just a small twist on the color challenge that I thought was unique. |
What I really enjoy about this card is the separation of color. The black color peeks through on various spots of the design. I like it because it adds a bit of texture. |
Challenges Entered:
I think either my phone or computer does not like pink... Pink is a hard color for me to get true. In this case, it is more a coral color but trust me, this is hot pink... It says so on the bottle!! lol. Anyway, I like the way this design turned out. It kind of reminds me of an 80's color palette. All we need is some checkered pattern in turquoise and we'd be all set.
Well, I must go now and clean my CRAPtable.... Oh, I mean CRAFTtable... It is an absolute wreck and needs a good ole' fashioned cleaning. So I bid you goodnight.
Thank you for dropping by and we will see you soon. Until then take care and happy stamping.
All the best,
Shawna

It would be you who would come up with such a unique and creative card, Shawna!!!! Not in this world would I have had any idea what to do with that large word, but you used it so effectively and came up with a great design!!!! The pink and the metallic green is a winning combination and the black compliments it perfectly!!!!! This must be really special IRL!!!!
Have a great day!!!!!
