So happy you could join me today. Today I am going to be playing along with AAA Cards, promise it is CAS and Just Us Girls. I have had this idea batting around my head for quite some time and now I thought it would be a perfect time to bring it to fruition. So without further ado here is my card for today, enjoy!
I researched retro colors to go with the retro-elements in the card. Okay, I skimmed Pinterest and found a mid-century color scheme I liked. |
A one layer card that is a bit 'out of the box' for AAA. I thought of the sketch a bit differently. I envisioned the circle as an area to put your design, not a circle. |
A detail shot of the retro-elements. The sentiment tucks perfectly under the design. |
The stars have aligned in Blogland! A very strange coincidence I realized both challenges have consecutive numbers. You put the challenge numbers together and you get a string of consecutive numbers, 1-6!
I am kind of a numbers fanatic. I can memorize a set of numbers in seconds; phone numbers, pin numbers, and yes, given a pattern, I can even memorize credit card numbers. So be careful not to show your card for too long there might be someone like me gazing at your number.

Hi! I love the pattern you have created and your different take on the sketch. Pleasantly out of the box!! The colors scheme you opted does go well with the retro theme you wanted for your card. Btw, I am quite impressed with your observation about the challenge numbers, it is indeed a nice coincidence. Thank you for playing along with us at AAACards. Happy crafting. Hugs - Bharati

Fun interpretation of our sketch, totally unexpected! Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.
Love the retro look and colors of your card.
I love the retro look and color combination, Shawna. This would make a wonderful masculine card. Thanks for sharing it with us at Just Us Girls. Great observation on the number sequence.
