For today I am going to be playing along with The Paper Players. It has been a while since I joined them and am so happy to join in the fun! So, here is my card for today, enjoy!

| I wanted continuity in the design. All the elements seem to flow together nicely. And using the spotlight technique really brings a lot of visual interest. |

| Above: The sentiment is absolutely perfect for this card. It should because they are from the same set. The color red is striking against the cool color palette. Left/Below: I used the spotlight technique for this challenge. However, when I brought all the elements together they seem to have washed out the blocks. So I drew a shadow line around two sides of the block to create a bit of separation. Right/Bottom: Four of the six squares are raised using dimensional tape. The other two squares hold the red sentiment. All these elements combined create a distinct area of squares. |

I have been looking for this set for five years!! Five years!! I gave up until I posted it on FB! I found it and wanted to use it right away.
