Hello All,
For today I will be playing around with Time Out Challenge. Their theme is near and dear to my heart, cities. My minor in college was urban planning and cities, of course, were a major theme in my studies. Here is my card for today, enjoy!
Parks in a city are so important and an essential part of city life. Nature is rejuvenating and when surrounded by concrete, buildings, and loud traffic, nature can be a well-deserved escape. |
The cityscape was done by stamping only the top of the stamp and with my finger, I brushed the ink downward to create the fade. The foreground is a pine needle stamp I usually use for Christmas but thought it would be perfect here too. It gives the design a sense of depth and space |

I love the thought behind this card-I too love to escape the city for some nature and am lucky enough to live walking distance from some lovely pathway walks that are so peaceful-very different to the centre of London! And your cards shows this wonderfully. There is so much depth to it-the city in the background, all layered up and then the nature nearer to us-a super design. Thanks for joining Time Out x
