Hello All,
For today I will be playing along with INKspirational. Their theme word this fortnight is 'Tower'. So with that in mind, here is my card for today, enjoy!
|
This an older stamp and die set from Papertrey Ink. I think they have the set in their blow-out sale. I thought tower and many things came to mind. When finally, of course, a tower of blocks!!! I used a slimline card base to emphasize the height of a tower. |
|
Playing blocks are mostly painted using primary colors. The shapes were stamped using VersaMark Ink then heat embossed in clear. The color of the paper would be the color of the block but the stamp created a wooden texture (see below). It adds that extra touch added the texture. |

This quote from Walt Disney sums up this card nicely. I thought it was the perfect sentiment for this tower card. This sentiment is actually made from one stamp. I stamped it three separate times trying to be careful to capture the text I need for each word fragment block. I also traced the sentiments using a black sharpie. I wasn't careful to keep the outline straight. |
Challenges Entered:
INKspirational: Challenge #233- Tower
