Hello All,
Today I will be playing along with AAA Birthday and Alphabet Challenge. I created quite an unusual mini slimline card featuring a feather. Here is my card for today, enjoy!
This is the classic inlay technique. Taking pieces from other patterned paper and laying them in the openings to create a retro color aesthetic. |
I slightly curved the sentiment to match the curve of the feather. I embossed the sentiment in coral to match the color scheme of the card. |
This is showing the back and how it is hinged. Just scored the back feather on top and glue it above the scoreline to create a card. Challenges Entered: |
Thank you so much for stopping by and I do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to spend time with me. Lots of good crafting vibes headed your way. I hope you all have a fantastic day and please stay safe and healthy.
All the best,

Hi Shawna! I want to thank you so much for your comment left on my blog about my mermaid rocker card. I have big plans to use that Scrapworks paper up over the summer so we need to stay in touch. Now it's my turn to be wowed. Wow and How! I've never even seen that feather die before, but what you did was magnificent! I'm in awe, that is one cool card. XOX, Aimeslee

What a clever idea to use that die for a shaped card, and a great choice of papers to fill in your feather. Thanks for sharing with us at the Alphabet Challenge!
