Today I am entering INKspirational, The Paper Players and CASology. This card is probably the oddest, spookiest card I have ever made. This card not only looks odd but was created oddly as well. I will reveal this later on. Firstly, here is my card for today, enjoy...

| Creepy, huh?! I was trying out a new for me technique by water coloring on dark paper. I thought it couldn't be done until I tried it out! I made several panels and with my mind blown I stored the extras for future use!!! |

| The skull face is so creepy coming out of the watercolor. It looks like it is after you to take your soul. EEEK! |

| I wanted the sentiment to be discovered and not the center of attention. I stamped the sentiment and embossed it using clear powder. The sentiment was comprised out of two sets; one from Studio G and the other from SU (retired), I think. |
CASology: Week 270- odd
INKspirational: Challenge 145- One Layer Card
The Paper Players: CAS Spooky- PP366
As noted above this card was created strangely too. I made several panels using the same technique. Some turned out and decided to store the rest for future use.
I also had other experimental projects stored with it. One such project used vegetable oil as part of the design. Turned out good enough for me to store as well. I know you can see where this is going, but I stored the oil panel under one of the watercolor panels and the oil seeped through to the watercolor paper.
A few weeks later, I was looking for another panel and almost screamed when I saw this!! I didn't make this!! Then it dawned on me what had happened. Looking at it further I thought it would make a fantastic spooky card. I saw these challenges and right away thought of this panel.

This is a seriously fantastic Halloween card!! I love it, though, I am still not sure how it came to be.

Shawna this card really is so spooky - it totally fits the brief! I was intrigued as to how you created it and whilst it sounds like it was something of a happy accident it would have absolutely freaked me if I had found it in my pile of experimental watercolours. It does look like a skull. Just fabulous - thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!

That skull in the sky is exactly like some kind of soul-stealer. You must have been totally shocked to find it in your drawer! It is a seriously disturbing image - so great for this challenge. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week.
GREAT STORY! I couldn't believe it when I saw your card... it is fantastic and I just had to know how you did it! So love how it all came together... not sure about recreation... but watercoloring on black will be tried! Thanks.
