Today I am playing along with Freshly Made Sketches, CAS Watercolour Challenge, and The Paper Players. So here is my card for today, enjoy!

| The sunflower stamp is a retired SU stamp. I stamped the sunflower using very light Wild Hare ink by Colorbox. The detail of the stamp shows through the watercolor giving it beautiful texture and dimension. |

| The center of the sunflower was done by watercoloring the center using a stipple effect. giving the impression of seeds. The absolute center was done using brown, yellow, and light green watercolor. |

| I know some of you may be thinking why on earth did I use a bright and cheery sunflower for a sympathy card. It is a time to reflect on the good times and times together with the departed. I think of it as a celebration of life. |

I have that same retired SU! Sunflower, and it may be an oldie, but it's still a favorite of mine and you've water colored it just beautifully! Especially love how you did the center! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at CAS Watercolour!! :0)
