Welcome to the first challenge of 2018 at The Male Room! We have a lot in store for this year and am very excited to share them with you throughout the coming months. This month's theme is perfect for this time of year, New Beginnings. Whether it is a resolution to get organized, save money, or read one book a month (that one is mine!) a new year is a great way to start fresh and new! With that in mind, here is my card for today, enjoy!

| Sparkle and a beautiful sunset fill this card with the anticipation of the New Year. It seems fireworks start when there is still a bit of light. I wanted to create the sunset (out with the old) and the sentiment (in with new) scenario. |

| Our local news always broadcasts the sunsets for the day. Well, yesterday was amazing... I would venture to say it was downright awe-inspiring. So much so that is what inspired this sunset with an urban city watching as the night unfolds. |

We get some good sunsets on the weather forecast sometimes, this one is fab and just perfect for seeing out the old.
